Veuve Ambal's Crémant de Bourgogne Grande Cuvée Brut originates in Burgundy, the beating heart of French winemaking.
It is made from a blend of different grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gamay, and Aligoté. The harvest is strictly manual, ensuring a selection of the best grapes in the vineyard. Winemaking proceeds with soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation, and an aging period for the Grande Cuvée ranging from 12 to 18 months.
It presents an intense straw yellow color, turning golden. The bouquet offers a rich array of bakery notes, including brioche and butter, set against a delicate floral background. The taste reveals an exotic fruity character, within a fresh and savory sip, animated by a good structure. It lingers long with a fine and elegant finish.
Excellent to accompany rich cheeses.
