Cumaro is a tribute to Mount Conero, from the Greek "komaros," meaning arbutus, an evergreen shrub widely found in its woods. Not far from this distinctive vegetation, in the eponymous estate located in the municipality of Osimo, grow the Montepulciano vines dedicated to the production of Cumaro, a portion of which has recently been replanted to optimize cultivation systems. Intense and complex, Cúmaro is one of the most important wines in the history of the Umani Ronchi winery and is also considered among the pioneers of fine wines in the Conero area.
With a deep ruby red color and garnet reflections, the bouquet reveals ripe fruity notes of plum, blackcurrant, and sour cherry on a spicy background of black pepper, vanilla, and tobacco.
The taste is soft and enveloping, with well-polished tannins and a pleasant cocoa finish.
Perfect with grilled red meats and meat sauces.
