Pure Lagrein grapes give life to this typical and indigenous wine, after a manual harvest and a rigorous selection of the bunches, in which only the best grapes participate. There is a malolactic fermentation and, at a later stage, the wine remains to age for 7-10 months in large wooden barrels.
A dark garnet red color catches the eye, while offering a generous bouquet of intense notes of cranberry and sour cherry on the nose, embellished with a floral fragrance of lilac and bay leaf, hints of flint and a delicate touch of chocolate. On the palate, it is vinous, harmonious and stands out for a very full and velvety profile.
Its organoleptic profile makes it the most suitable wine to be paired with beef stew with mashed potatoes or braised game with a side of red cabbage. To be tried with mature Parmesan cheese.
