MOET&CHANDON "MARC DE CHAMPAGNE" - Aged Grappa
- Country: France
- Format: 0.7 L
- Ingredients: Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir pomace
- Alcohol content: 40%
Moët & Chandon Marc de Champagne is a grappa made from the distillation of the precious pomace of the grapes that give life to Champagne: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier. After distillation, which takes place in a discontinuous cycle in the classic copper swan-neck still, this grappa ages for a long time in oak barrels where it acquires complexity and elegance.
Tasting notes:
With a clear yellow color with golden reflections, this grappa exudes notes of aromatic woods, frankincense and myrrh, accompanied by a potpourri of broom and withered yellow rose, and nuances of hazelnut and toasted almond. The taste is full and intense, harmonious and refined, characterized by an inexhaustible persistence of sweet spices.
Pairings:
Excellent served with ice or at room temperature as an after-dinner drink.
