The Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located near Bolgheri, on the Tuscan coast, in the center of the so-called "Bolgheri amphitheater": soft hills surround a splendid plain sloping down to the sea, creating a microclimate with unique characteristics. It is here that, since 1990, one of the most famous wines of the denomination, "Guado al Tasso", has been produced. A red wine that takes its name from the badgers that cross the fords of the streams near the Estate. A unique red, capable of expressing all the strength and softness of this corner of Maremma, showing a distinctly Mediterranean character made of power, elegance and balance.

Tasting Notes:

Dark ruby red, it is a wine with a broad olfactory impact, with notes of mint, coffee, plum and spices that follow one another and blend in constant evolution. On the palate, the texture of the tannins is extraordinarily dense and silky. A deep and long wine, of great elegance.

Pairings:

Suitable for the entire meal, it pairs well with rich meat dishes, especially braised meats.
