The Toscana Rosso 'Giramonte' by Frescobaldi is the rarest and most exclusive cru. It comes from the vineyards of the Castiglioni Estate, which has been owned by the family since the 11th century. Southwest of Florence, in the Val di Pesa, the area is ideal for growing elegant Sangiovese, as well as robust and lively Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. 'Giramonte' is a Super Tuscan blend of Merlot and Sangiovese, aged for about 16 months in barriques, resulting in a wine of great intensity, rich, silky, and with a very long finish.

Tasting Notes:

Intense ruby red color, the nose presents a surprising bouquet in terms of intensity and complexity. Aromas of black cherry, myrtle, and wild blackberry, and notes of toasted hazelnut, cocoa, and coffee. On the palate, it is broad, velvety, with a delicate tannic texture and elegant structure.
