Fattoria San Lorenzo's "di Gino" is, without fear of contradiction, one of the best Italian white wines in terms of value for money. The vineyard is managed organically, integrating some biodynamic principles, and all of Natalino's wines, while being territorial and artisanal, maintain elegance and refinement as a common thread. A granite-like certainty.
The "di Gino" wine is made from white grapes from vines approximately 20 years old. In the vineyard and in the cellar, the philosophy is consistent and involves targeted but not overbearing intervention. Therefore, the vineyard is managed organically, integrating biodynamic practices, while in the cellar, alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously in stainless steel tanks. A small addition of sulfur dioxide is made before bottling.
Tasting notes:
The "di Gino" white wine has a bright and quite intense straw yellow color. The nose is extremely typical, satisfying in its simplicity: it smells of pear, hazelnut, and hawthorn, all in a clear picture, free of unnecessary frills. The sip is pulpy yet smooth, with a soft tactile sensation and a saline finish.
