Cantine del Notaio’s Il Preliminare is one of our perfect wines for romantic moments. Its name alone evokes a romantic moment where passion and delicacy unite; the characteristics of this wine only follow this concept: the blend of grapes used, Aglianico, Chardonnay, Moscato, and Malvasia, lend an aromaticity, pleasantness, and drinkability that perfectly accompanies romantic and delicate dinners.

We are in Basilicata, in the heart of Southern Italy, where Vulture, a majestic extinct volcano, is the authentic guardian of a territory rich in history, art, natural and scenic treasures. These unique suggestions have always characterized the Giuratrabocchetti family's passion for viticulture, which for several generations has been inspired by organic and biodynamic criteria to enhance the organic content in the grape before and in the wine afterward.

Tasting Notes:

Manual harvesting begins in the second half of August; the wine rests in steel for fermentation before maturing for at least two months in the bottle, thus achieving a crystalline yellow color, a fine and broad nose of almond, fresh exotic fruits such as pineapple, mango, and papaya, with pronounced notes of savoriness and freshness that perfectly balance the sweetness derived from the fruity hints.
