Borgogno's Langhe Freisa is made from grapes grown in vineyards located in the heart of the municipality of Barolo, a terroir known for producing highly prized wines. It is made exclusively from Freisa grapes. Fermentation occurs naturally, without the addition of selected yeasts, at low temperatures of 24-28°C for approximately 12 days. The wine then ages in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C for 4 months, and for an additional month in the bottle.
Tasting notes:
This Freisa is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with aromas of red fruits, enriched by pleasant spicy notes. On the palate, it is elegant, with a fresh and pleasantly fruity body.
Pairing:
Perfect with grilled red meats, it is also ideal with aged cheeses.
