Arnaldo Caprai's Montefalco Rosso comes from vineyards located in the Montefalco area of Umbria, from a company that is constantly developing to create wines with great personality and typicity. It is produced with 70% Sangiovese grapes, 15% Sagrantino grapes, and 15% Merlot grapes. This wine matures for about 12 months in barriques, and for an additional 4 months in the bottle.

Tasting notes: 

Montefalco Rosso is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet with hints of wildflowers, red fruits, and a touch of nutmeg. On the palate, it is dry and smooth, with impeccable tannins.

Perfect for accompanying roasts and meat ragù, it is ideal with aged cheeses, cold cuts, and cured meats.
