Vermentino di Sardegna Is Argiolas from Cantina Argiolas is made from grapes grown in vineyards located in the eponymous estate, in Selegas, Sardinia.

It is produced exclusively with Vermentino grapes, rigorously hand-picked in the early morning hours. After careful selection, the grapes undergo a soft pressing using only free-run must and are cooled to 10-12°C. The wine then ferments on indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature of 16-17°C for 25-30 days, followed by aging on fine lees for 40 to 60 days.

It is a wine with a pale straw yellow color, enriched with greenish reflections. The bouquet is intense, delicate, and persistent, with hints of wildflowers and herbaceous notes, and pleasant notes of yellow peach. On the palate, it is lively and fresh, with good savoriness. Overall, it is a balanced and delicate wine, very refined.

Perfect to accompany fish appetizers and risottos, it is ideal with first courses with fish, stewed and grilled fish, and white meats. Also excellent served with medium-aged cheeses.
