The grapes are gently destemmed and pressed. The must ferments on the skins at controlled temperature with frequent pump-overs, in order to extract color and aromas. After devatting, the wine ages for a short period in 500-liter tonneaux. Whether made from an indigenous grape or an international variety, every Alturis wine tells a single story: that of the Friulian hills around Cividale, where the grapes grown by the Zorzettig family, winemakers for three generations, thrive.
