It is predominantly made from Chardonnay grapes and Fiano di Puglia grapes, harvested and selected by hand at full ripeness. After a brief cold decantation, the Chardonnay must ferments in new French and Hungarian oak barriques at a controlled temperature and ages in barriques where malolactic fermentation takes place. The Fiano ferments separately in steel at a controlled temperature of 16-17°C, to enhance its fresh and acidic notes, and is then blended. This is followed by further ageing in the bottle for 6 months before being released onto the market.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTasting notes: \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAntinori's \u003cem\u003ePietrabianca\u003c\/em\u003e has a straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of white fruit, enriched by delicate notes of vanilla and acacia honey.
