The Incrocio Bruni 54 grape variety was created in 1936 by Professor Bruno Bruni, who worked for the Ministry of Agriculture between 1930 and 1950, by cross-pollinating Sauvignon Blanc and Verdicchio varieties. It is rarely found and exclusively in the Marche region. Over the years, this grape was almost disappearing; through a research project, some rootstock cuttings were rediscovered and replanted in a small plot.
Visually, it presents a straw-yellow color with slight golden reflections. On the nose, it offers herbaceous notes of tomato leaf, fruity citrus and bergamot, and floral elderflower. On the palate, its freshness stands out, balanced by warmth and softness, with a citrusy finish.
Excellent with structured appetizers and first courses.
Must try with Bavette with asparagus cream.
