This wine bears the name of the acclaimed Ornellaia estate, as it is dedicated with the utmost care and passion.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt is a cuvée resulting from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc grapes, with strictly manual and late harvesting, except for Merlot, which extends until almost the end of October. Selection is carried out in the vineyard, with up to three harvesting passes, but also in the cellar on a sorting table. After a soft pressing of the grapes, vinification takes place separately, variety by variety, plot by plot. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks between 26 and 30°C, followed by maceration in contact with the skins for about 10-15 days. The wine then ages in barriques in the Ornellaia cellar, at controlled temperature, for 18 months, 12 months separately and then for an additional 6 months after blending. A further 12 months of bottle aging precedes commercial release.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBolgheri Superiore Ornellaia displays an intense ruby red color in the glass. The nose perceives fresh and lively notes of raspberry and violet, accompanied by captivating hints of black tea leaves and spices.
