The Pellegrini Spa range expands and strengthens with a fascinating project, born from the desire to enhance typical Italian distillates through their aging in barrels that previously held Rums from the Pellegrini Private Stock selection. The barrels, emptied after the Rums were bottled, were reused for the aging of selected pomace brandies, produced using the discontinuous bain-marie distillation system with steam-heated stills. The 6-month stay in Rum barrels of brandies already aged for 24 months originally has given them new nuances and unique characteristics.

"Hija Ilegìtima" (illegitimate daughter) is the evocative name of these distillates born from the union of two different worlds, from the encounter of two distant realities and products as different as Rums, whose notes remained well present in the barrels, and brandies. The Rum barrels, reborn to a second life, have made it possible to obtain innovative, atypical, unique products of their kind, with truly interesting nuances. Products for true enthusiasts, limited edition bottles, all numbered and with attractive packaging, also due to the choice of the "old pharmacy" style bottle.
The care in the regeneration of the barrels, bottling without the use of mechanical actions, the absence of cold filtration and the high proof, distinguish a quality and purity of products with few equals on the market.
