Sicily Il Rosso La Segreta by Planeta is born in the Dispensa, Gurra and Buonivini vineyards, located in the municipalities of Menfi and Noto, in the province of Syracuse. La Segreta takes its name from the woods surrounding the vineyards. It is produced with Nero d'Avola, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc grapes, carefully harvested and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25°C for 10-14 days. Subsequently, the wine ages in the same containers before being bottled.

Tasting notes:

La Segreta Il Rosso by Planeta is characterized by a ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose opens with aromas of mulberries and plums, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of cocoa and tobacco. On the palate, it has a fresh alcoholic structure and well-balanced tannins.

Pairings:

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat ragù, it is ideal in combination with red meats and game.
