Abbona Barolo is born from spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, using indigenous yeasts, in contact with the skins for about 30 days, during which continuous pump-overs are carried out. Ageing involves 30 months in 25-hectoliter barrels plus 6 months of rest in the bottle. Visually, Marziano Abbona Barolo is ruby red, graced by garnet reflections. On the nose, floral hints of wild rose and wisteria are perceived, fading into sensations of Parma violet, at times balsamic, with a finish of wet earth and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is clear, as good as it gets, savory, complex, and with a refreshing finish enveloped by balanced tannins. A wine that tells tradition and revives memories.
