The beautiful Fattoria Le Mortelle is located in the heart of lower Maremma, in the province of Grosseto and just ten kilometers from the sea. This estate was acquired by the Antinori family in 1999 and spans 270 hectares, of which 160 are planted with vineyards, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, along with more recent plantings of white grape varieties such as Vermentino, Ansonica, and Viognier. "Poggio alle Nane" is born from a blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, a Bordeaux-style blend that embodies all the generosity of the best wines from the Tuscan Coast. An elegant, deep, dynamic red.

Tasting notes

Dark ruby red, the nose expresses an intense aroma of chocolate, mint, sweet spices, and licorice, giving it great complexity. On the palate, it is soft, broad, and enveloping, rich and balanced. A savory wine, with personality and very pleasant to drink.

Pairings

Suitable for the entire meal, it pairs well with rich first courses typical of Tuscan cuisine. Try it with a large roast, strictly oven-baked.
