Cihuatan is the city of the Maya-Pipil people in the Acelhuate river valley of El Salvador. The name means 'near the woman' to commemorate the unique shape of Mount Guazapa. Cihuatan rum is the first to be produced from sugarcane grown in El Salvador, with complete control over the supply chain. Aged using the solera system in American oak ex-bourbon barrels for a perfect balance between wood and the sweetness of the rum.

Cinabrio is inspired by the red color, obtained by the Mayans from a mineral, symbolizing the sun god Kinich Ahau. The spirit is the work of Master Blender Gabriela Ayala. It is aged for 12 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels.

Scents of plum, star fruit, and sugarcane, intertwined with pistachio, toasted wood, and candied orange. These provide a pleasant complexity to the sip.
