Argiolas, a historic winery in Sardinia, rooted in an area particularly suited to viticulture such as Sulcis, has perfectly combined the quality of raw materials and a love for the product, creating unique and typically territorial wines. The Cannonau di Sardegna Costera is a beautiful interpretation of this native grape variety which, combined with a small percentage of Carignano and Bovale, fully reflects the character of this land: decisive and warm, yet fresh and with refined taste and olfactory sensations.
Tasting notes:
Visually, it presents a beautiful ruby red with purple reflections, offering fruity notes of blackberry and plum, gooseberry, humus and graphite, Mediterranean scrub, and slight spicy accents on the nose. On the palate, it is structured and warm but well-balanced by a polished tannic texture, good acidity, and pleasant savouriness.Pairings:
It can be paired with pasta dishes with ragù, roasted red meats, chicken with peppers, and medium-aged Pecorino cheese.
