Argiolas Winery's Vermentino di Sardegna Costamolino originates from vineyards located on the gentle slopes of Pranu Sturru-Suelli and Perda Campus-Selegas.
It is produced from Vermentino grapes, meticulously hand-harvested during the early hours of the morning and carefully selected. After a gentle pressing, the free-run must is cooled with natural decantation, then fermented for about 20 days at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. The wine rests at a controlled temperature with a brief period on fine lees before being bottled.
It is characterized by a straw-yellow color with slight greenish reflections. The bouquet is subtle, intense, and delicate, with pleasant floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and dry, pleasantly crisp and savory; overall, it is a delicate and refined wine.
Perfect for accompanying seafood appetizers, crustaceans, fish dishes, and fish soups, it is also ideal with medium-aged cheeses.
